GLAMs & Copyright: the Big Picture

Facilitators: Amy Watling & Thomasin Sleigh

Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums (GLAMs) aim to connect people with their collections and taonga – and as soon as people connect, they want to reuse! How do we meet the new expectations and needs of our online users and also meeting our legislative, kaitiakitanga, and social obligations as collectors and protectors of our documentary history? Join representatives from the National Library for a discussion about where cultural heritage and copyright meet, compete, and align.

Thomasin Sleigh is the community manager at Digital NZ and Amy Watling is the Online Research Services Leader with Alexander Turnbull Library.
